AFROTASTIC2014-A NATURAL HAIR AFFAIR

Have you noticed an increasing number of Ghanaian women begin to rock their curls and afros?

It’s such a giant step for women in our community to ditch their weaves and relaxers and embrace their natural hair.

However, many of these women in a society where beauticians are trained to take care of relaxed hair go to back to relaxers after a few months often because of societal pressure and lack of information on handling natural hair.

I’ve got some great news for you!!! Ghana’s Premier Natural Hair Bloggers Afrodiva Nally of Ghanaian Naturals and Annette Akye of NaturalistaGh will be hosting an event called Afrotastic 2014 at the YWCA opposite the Holy Spirit Cathedral on 5^th July 2014 from 9:00am to 5pm.

This event will feature Special Guest Rama Brew, Spoken word and Music from Ghana’s finest artiste, international and national natural hair product vendors amongst others.

This event is free of charge and participants will get a chance to win free goody bags with natural hair products and accessories!!!
