Retro Fab Fashion Event comes off this weekend(2nd may- 4thmay)

After a successful first run last October, where Retro Fab was outdoored with successful two-day event comprising a Catwalk Show and a Sales Bazaar, the organizers  have decided to ride on the wave of our success and produce a bigger and better version of the original Retro Fab.

This years event will bring together some of Ghana’s most celebrated boutiques and fashion brands, and for shoppers to converge at a destination where they can be able to see, touch, and feel the garments and articles on display from the various boutiques and fashion outlets!

The event will be in 2 parts:

•            2nd of May, 2014: La Villa Boutique Hosts Retro Fab Fashion Night – a night of haute couture and culturally rich glamour. This event is by invitation only and will comprise cocktails, a runway show and industry networking.

•                3rd and 4th of May, 2014: Astros Park in Dzorwulu will be home to the Retro Fab Fashion & Sales Bazaar featuring over 30 brands and shops from across Ghana, starting at 10am and ending at 8pm...

 

EVENT: I-POP UP SHOP with Maksi , Horseman and planiT Ghana.

This Christmas definitely has a lot coming. Here is another event you shouldn't miss this season.  From the 19th of December to 2nd January 2014, Maksi Clothing a Ghanaian based  unisex fashion label launched in 2009 which  creates 'fab, fresh and funky' clothing  and Horseman shoes also a Ghanaian based footwear manufacturing company that specializes in the production of men's dress shoes, unisex sandals and slippers ,safety boots and school sandals  will be showcasing funky clothing, jewellery and handcrafted Footwear at the African Regent I-pop-up shop exclusively decorated by PlaniT Ghana an event planning and Brand communications company committed to providing professional event management and integrated communications services.

The general public is invited to interact with the owners and staff behind  Maksi Clothing ,Horseman Shoes  and PlaniT Ghana on Thursday 19th December from 6pm -9pm at the African Regent Hotel. 
PS :anyone who misses out on the first day can get to shop at the African Regent Hotel from 8am-11pm .

CATWALK For Orphans

The winner of Male Icon Ghana 2012 Thomas Andoh under the auspices of the Male Icon Ghana organization and Needy Kidz Foundation (NGO), a children rights N.G.O in Accra will on May 1 (the may day holiday), 2013 at 7pm host this year's edition of its annual charity fashion show dubbed 'CATWALK 4 ORPHANS' at the Kama Conference Center auditorium,Labone Junction in Accra.

The event which brings together young, creative and talented fashion designers ,will feature designs by Vanessa Teye (B’Venaj), Jennifer Kilson (Kama by Kilson), Nicholas Asamoah (Nicholine), Larry Jafaru Mohammed (LJ Couture), Raphael Sowah (Srok Designs), Alpha Doumbia (Samarra) and Abdullai Ramadan (Faddigah Creations). The fashion event to be attended by celebrities and fashion lovers will also be used as a platform to raise money for the Shelter for Abused Children in Accra as well as other charities that benefits needy children. The charity fashion show will also be interspersed with Music and Dance with special performance of the newly released single ‘Sunshine’ by sensational musician Nelsyn.
